Front Yard Farms is a Vancouver based urban agriculture venture that believes lawns, rooftops, and other underutilized spaces are the future of food production.
We turn any sized space into an organic food garden - using methods like food focussed permaculture, food forests, foodscaping, and edible landscapes.
What You Get
Front Yard Farms offers site consultations, planting guides, designs, builds, and maintains your food garden. Front Yard Farms will design and build the perfect food garden tailored to your needs, in any sized space. We offer grow guides to take care of the garden yourself, or we offer full-time services to keep your food garden producing year-round.
How It Works
1. Contact us
Book a consultation with our personal farmer to discuss your food garden goals.
2. Planning your garden
Work with our personal farmer to select the plants you would like included in your food garden using our tailored preference sheet list.
3. Designing your garden
After we have your plant list, we will work with you to choose the food garden you’d like: edible landscaping, foodscpaing, food forest, or a food focussed permaculture design.
4. Planting your garden
Following the completion of plant selection, and a space being designed; we will install the food garden to the design specifications.
5. Maintain and Harvest
We offer year-round maintenance, with weekly harvesting visits for your enjoyment. We also offer to educate you on how to take care of the food garden yourself!
6. Enjoy the bountiful harvests!
All the food that is harvested from your property is yours to enjoy with your family and friends!
